The Michigan Electronic Music Collective (MEMCO) is a student group of DJs, producers, event-goers, and friends striving to spread an appreciation of electronic music in the Ann Arbor area. The collective throws monthly “Impulse” parties at Club Above and play at other local Ann Arbor venues like Arbor Vitae, Necto, and Alley Bar. They also host ongoing DJ “office hours” for their members to gain experience on club standard DJ equipment.
As a multimedia designer for MEMCO I've created printed posters, graphics for social media, and captured editorial photography of events.
Industry Insights is a speaker event about the professional world of electronic music featuring booking agent Jon Sax of Liaison Artists.
Working alongside the MEMCO President, we came up with the name, tagline, and copy for the event. Using Adobe Illustrator I created graphics for social media including a promotional post, 3 piece Instagram burst, and Facebook event cover.
Crush Collision is a monthly radio show hosted on WCBN, the University of Michigan student radio station. Hosted by MEMCO, guest performers and student DJs takeover the station and play electronic music.
I've created graphics for events including professional musicians including DJ Jungle 313, Psychick, and Jem.
Using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator I created posters for two parties at MichMinnies Cooperative House which featured MEMCO DJs.
